Matt went to a couple AFL games in the last month. He hit the Gabba and the stadium in the Gold Coast. He had beautiful weather for both games. And while he was in the GC MA & DB had a birthday party to attend. So that left EL and myself for the afternoon and evening. We went to the park. Got dinner at Grill'd. Walked down Oxford St to Baskin-Robins for some ice cream then finished up with another play in the park. All in all, it was a good day for the whole family!
She had to call her boyfriend in the middle of dinner. I am in so much trouble with this one!
She picked vanilla with a sprinkle cone.

Southbank Saturday
We headed over to Southbank for a little relaxation. It was sunny and warm. And it was probably the busiest I have seen the area since last summer. The beach area was quite crowded for a winter day. Of course, we needed to stop for ice cream after the beach.
The Views
A friend recently invited us down to his apt for dinner. Mr. Phil is a brave man. He is lives steps from the beach. I would never get anything done if we lived there! The views were amazing. He said he can see whales out in the water from his balcony. He cooked us a wonderful dinner. Shared his homemade wine with us. Set the kids up with a movie to watch after we went for a swim in the pool. We were living the high life!
Friendships abroad
Our friends recently moved back to England. MA & DB were sad to see their mates head off but we can't wait to keep in touch with them.
Life As We Know It
The July special at USA Foods was A&W Root beer. I should be set for a bit.
Who knew cauliflower came in some many pretty colors?!
About 4 times a week we play birthday party. This is the present every time. A party bag filled with random goodies EL has put together. The items in the bag don't change.
MA saw a cute puppy at the park and sat down to draw it. Concentration!
August Already?
The last month has blown right past us! It was filled with soccer, swimming, dinner with new and old friends, saying 'Til next time to our friends headed to England, birthday parties, footy games, beautiful weather, & just trying to enjoy life as it comes at us.
