August Moments

Decided it was time for a little change to my hair. A little color never hurt anyone.

 We played Cards Against Humanity. EL called it a day.

 This girl. Loving her new vest.

 Next time DB goes to shovel he will probably need a whole lot more clothes and it won't be sand.

Oham and Ohpa celebrated their anniversary with the fam at the Lake House. Love the look on her face!

 Watched some basketball

 We played outside.

 Someone decided to go on an excursion by herself one afternoon. SO thankful for a friend that found her. Cheeky Roo.

 And we watched a night time soccer game!

Soccer 2015

It was another great soccer season for all 3 kids. EL started off a bit rough but finished strong! Not losing a game in the last 5 weeks. She played a lot of defender and really did well, saving a lot of goals from being scored. 

MA played on an all girls team this season being moved up to a u10 team. She had a great time and really improved throughout the season. MA played striker and center mid the majority of the time. 

 And another fantastic season for DB and his team. We have been luck to carry over most of our team the last 3 years. It is a great group of kids and parents. I feel luck to have called them my team. Go USA!

 This is generally the look I get from DB. And I am always talking, coaching, cheering. Just the way it works with me.

 Somebody scored a goal!! The look of excitement on his face. He played a lot of goalie this season, by his own choice so it was nice to see him get a few goals when he came out of that position.

 EL's game was over and she was ready to go home.

Awards For MA

MA got a couple awards in August. A Star Student Award and she was picked to be a Learning Hero! She had to make an avatar for the Learning Hero Award with the reasons she earned that status. Super proud of her hard work every day. But the child refuses to look at me during assembly! 

Fun Day At School

Our school had an arts and crafts type day for the younger grades. EL loved having her face painted. DB was happy playing basketball then doing some music. It was a great day for everyone!

Book Character Week

The kids had book character week and got to pick their favorite character to dress up as. MA went for Mary Poppins ( she wouldn't wear the hat bc it didn't sit right with her pony tail and didn't want an umbrella). EL was Dorothy and loved carrying Toto in her basket. DB went as Zak Powers, made a bunch of cool gadgets and then didn't wear any of them during the parade. So he just looked like a kid that wore free dress. Hence no photos.
