Randomness of January

On top of birthdays, moving, and starting back to school,we managed to fit a few more things in our month.  EL lost a tooth.
Auntie Kat is always happy to be a customer at the hair shop. Poor Papa was probably begging for his to be done from the couch. EL is a fickle one.
Indoor soccer. Because it is always soccer season.

 Rocking some good grades.
Grandma & Papa's house and fridge are less full.

Our mailbox is in the middle of our driveway. I am guessing this isn't the last time we have to put it back up.
I failed at working the new fancy oven. Note to self: top oven is convection.

And we had lunch with Em and Ohma at Steak N Shake

21st Birthday for KM

I was pretty excited to get to spend my little sister's 21st birthday with her. We loaded up the Burbon and headed South to celebrate. KM  & J were great hosts and we had a fun weekend.

Matt held the fort down back home with the kids.

Silly

We were in between living at my parents and our new house. I really wanted to take advantage of not having to move in with our stuff. I was working on getting everything organinzed and unpacked before the chaos that is our lives added to the mess. My mom was a huge help! Cleaning, unpacking, helping with the kids, whatever we needed.

Road Trip To STL

When I was designing the new house, I knew I didn't need a formal dining room. I wanted a large kitchen table so we could use our every day tale when we have guests. I found a table at Costco here locally. Kept looking at it. Still liked it every time. Decided to buy it, it was gone. And now I had my heart set on it. So, I tracked one down. At Costco, outside of STL. I borrowed the Burbon. Dropped the kids off at school and I hit the road. Costco had it waiting for me, helped me load it (just fit) and I was on my way. Being in STL, I had to stop to pick up some coffee cakes and pop into IKEA. Successful day and back in time to pick up the kids!
