May Madness

May is always crazy. End of school, holidays, graduations and parties. But it's what we do and every year we survive it! The weather warmed up and the sunshine felt delightful.

Soccer Weekend

We headed to Chi for a soccer tournament over Memorial Day. It was smoking hot!!

Lake Day

We spent a day at a local lake with friends. The weather was great (except the 20 mins of a storm blowing thru) and the kids had a blast! Bags, Can Jam, swimming and a boat ride. This is what summer is suppose to be like.

End of School!!

And that's a wrap on another school year. EL-2nd. DB-4th. MA-6th. The kids had a great school year with amazing teachers. Hard to believe my baby is going to be in 3rd grade and MA will be in 7th!! Time really does fly when you are having fun.

MA Soccer

MA's team worked hard and brought home some hardware to show for it. Girls slept on the way home and I drove as quickly as possible to get home for EL's family birthday party.

Party Time for EL

The girls and I walked in the door at 4:59. Family coming over at 5:30. Cake not decorated. No showers. Presents not wrapped. Yet somehow it always comes together. Well I don't think I got a shower but that's ok. The important stuff got done. EL is currently obsessed with pineapples. It was a fun theme to work with. I even found some plates and napkins, then forgot to get them out for the party. Mom fail. Happy birthday to our EL. She has a strong personality. You can always tell what she is feeling, good or bad. Is willing to try anything and loves her family and friends. Her birthday list included gold high top converse- I didn't even know they existed but she got them. A new swimsuit. Bath bombs.
