Storm

  We had a massive storm. Large hail, pouring rain, and lightning. Thankfully Matt and the kids made it home moments before it reached our house. Buildings in the city had windows shattered by the hail and car everywhere looked like golf balls.

MA's Swim Carnival

  The upper grades has their swim carnival at a local school with a 25m pool. MA was very excited! She set her sights on Age Champion. She dominated several of the races taking 1st in freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, and IM. She placed 2nd in breaststroke to one of her best friends. The IM she won by over 20m! A successful day for the USA swimmer in OZ.

Kindy Concert

  Due to our upcoming trip to the USA, we got to get an early preview of the Kindy concert. EL was front and center. She thoroughly enjoyed putting on the show for us. Walk the Dinosaur was one of her favorites.

Awards 2015

  MA received a DUX award this year. It is quite an accomplishment. The school made a new set of standards this year. You ha to earn 8 or more A's  between the 2 report cards. Only about 35 students in the school achieved this award. So proud of MA and her hard work this year!

Thirty Something Birthday

  Spending the day with the hubs was a special treat. We did birthday breakfast with the kids before school. French toast and presents to start the day! We had an awards assembly to attend and Best Of Night that evening. Along with seeing the Christmas lights in Tingalpa to finish off the night. I loved every minute of it!

 And I got to have a 2nd celebration in IL with the rest of the fan. It was a great birthday!

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

  Christmas cards- Love them! Trying to get just the right photo for the card- not so much. Our friends, Heidi and Damian, graciously offered to help me out with the matter. We rounded up a few ideas, gathered our supplies, & gave it a go. It was hot outside that afternoon of course and the mozzies decided to have dinner while we were working. But we had a great time and captured plenty of options for cards this year.
