Party Time

I got to help with the 4th Grade AR party. It was a pirate theme this year. Lots of fun activities and snacks. I think my personal favorite was the hunt for the map pieces. It was also fun to watch the kids try to swab the deck with one hand. Who could tell who did sweeping around their house. 

Oh the school carnival. I don't love it but the kids sure do. We walked around, played just about all the games, and managed to take home lots of goodies. Fun to see which games had changed over the years and which had stayed the same. The cake walk and soda ring toss are as popular as ever.

EL in her 1st indoor game. She is such a leader. Not afraid to be the new kid and take charge.

Grandma's Birthday!

It was time to celebrate Grandma's birthday. She had plenty of helpers with blowing out the candles.  

MO weekend

We headed to the lake for a weekend. Soaked up some winter sun. The boys did some fishing. The girls got cleaned up for a night at the Red Dress Gala. Not a bad way to wrap up February!
