Mermaid Party For EL

We did a low key mermaid party at a local park with a few friends. Kids playing, laughing, and plenty of follies.

Hard to wrap my head around EL turning 5. Seems like that is always the birthday when I have to come to terms they are growing up and not babies anymore. EL got to start the day with FaceTime with Grandma and Papa. Then school. That afternoon she requested to tag along on Matt's run. Finally birthday dinner and presents. She is a very spoiled girls with all the gifts from friends and family around the world! To keep the birthday celebration going- we kept a couple presents back and let her open them on her American birthday.

EL is such a ball of energy! I hope she continues to enjoy life as much as she does now. Full of personality. Talkative. Generous (she was more than happy to share her new toys with her siblings).

Mother's Day 2015

Mother's Day is always a special day. The kids and Matt do a wonderful job of spoiling me every year. The Prep class had a 'spa' day for the mums. EL did my nails, makeup, and we made a bookmark! The kids had so much fun. My favorite gift was by far the notebook the kids gave me. Each year they can write/ draw on a page. This way I get to keep all their special words and drawings from Mother's Day!

Weet-Bix Triathlon

MA & DB did their first triathlon. They swam 75m, cycled 3km, and ran 500m. They had a great time. The event was very well organized and DB asked when he could do the next one!

Swim club Wrap up

We wrapped up another fantastic swim club season. A few pics from club champs and the awards night. EL got Age Champ, DB got 3rd in the Hollands Trophy Swim and 1st in aggregate point for the season. MA got 3rd in aggregate points for u9-10 girls. So proud of the kids and all their hard work. So many pb's this season.
