Splashtastic

  The weather is warming up here and so is the pool. (Spring officially starts on Sept 1st!) The kids decided they couldn't wait another day to get in to the pool. Friday after school they put their suits on. The water was a bit chilly at 1st but they didn't seem to notice. They were literally in and out of the pool all weekend. In for 30 mins, out to dry off and do something else. Then back in. Repeat from Friday afternoon til Sunday night.

   Sunday afternoon we did manage to get of the house for a couple hours. We planned to take the train to Southbank. However, when we got to the train station we were told the train wasn't running due to track work. So we decided to drive down in our car. It was an easy drive and found parking without too much hassle. DB had been asking to go on the "big Ferris wheel" all week. MA wasn't so sure about it & EL wasn't about to miss out on the ride. The Ferris wheel was very nice & gives great views of the city, river, & surrounding areas. We want to do it again at night. A little ice cream finished up our trip and we headed home for another dip in the pool before dinner.

 MA was drawing what she saw. So prepared with her notebook and pen.
