4th of July

 Our 1st American holiday we experienced in another country was the 4th of July. It is just another day in Australia. I have heard that they do have a celebration around that time in the city complete with American food, drink, and fireworks. We didn't make it there this year however. Most of the day we spent just like any other day, going about our normal routine. That night we had our soon-to-be-friends, the Vonks, over for dinner. They are also from the States, here for work. Chad brought sparklers over and we ended the night enjoying our own fireworks show put on by the kids!
