Keep Going

We started the day off with Kara's basketball game. 2nd morning in a row that we woke up and had to hustle out the house to get to where we needed to be on time. Lunch with Ohma and Ohpa. Thankfully they were happy to see us and feed us when we just showed up. Then we were off to the Dentist. My kids actually like going. Probably because we have the nicest Dentist. Teeth were all good to go!
DB teaching Grandma how to play CandyCrush
Home to pick up a birthday present and feed the kids some mac and cheese for dinner. Picked up Matt and we went to watch another basketball game. We ended the night at a birthday party for E who was turning 7! Both MA & DB were dribbling basketballs around that night.  The kids were not very happy about not being able to eat any of the birthday treats. Like I knew when I booked the dentist 4 months ago we would be going to a birthday party that night. Very kindly, Nicole packaged our treat to go.

Tuesday, was another busy one. I think it is safe to say the every day is going to be as busy as I can make it. We met Nicole and her crew for lunch. Next we stopped by the Samp's house. The kids barely let the car stop before they jumped out. They played and I didn't see them until it I said it was time to go. Matt worked that day and met us at the Samp's before we left to go to see Grandma Carol and Papa Harold. Chatted with them for a bit. Off to a swim meet to see our old neighborhood buddies. It was a beautiful night. The kids really liked watching the swim meet. Maybe they will be interested in trying meets back in Australia. We finished the night off with a late dinner with Grandma and Papa in Washington. 10pm seems to be the general bed time these days. 9:30am wake up.
Wednesday was the quietest day we have had so far. Lunch with a group of friends at Jennifer's house. The kids ran around. The moms caught up with each other. Aunt Shirley got in town in the afternoon. It was so nice to see her. We were looking forward to spending the next few days with her.

That night we met up with Josh and Holly for dinner and drinks at one of our favorite places. Seven on Prospect. Best lemon drop martinis in town!

Matt and I were saying how busy we have been and what a nice problem it is to have. We really feel lucky to have so many friends and family that want to see us and appreciate everyone's efforts to make it happen. I don't know what day or time it is but I have a smile on my face!
