September Moments

You have to really want some USA candy to buy it at these prices.

EL keeps her room like this. But reorganizes my pantry like this. See she definitely has 2 sides to her personality.

This is what I get to push to school when we walk.
 Christmas lists have been made!
DB drew pictures next to everything so there was no confusion
Nice shoes
 Half smile. Half growl.

The Start of Something Beautiful

I am excited about Nippers for so many reasons. The kids learning how to swim in the ocean. Beach safety. Experiencing something we would not be able to do in IL. Making new friends. Going to the beach every Sunday. Just to name a few.
Pretty sure their cheeks hurt by the time they were finished. They didn't stop smiling the entire time!

Term 3 Finished

Crazy to realize we are 3/4 the way done with this school year already. DB is doing great reading. MA had become a leader in her class. She also informed me, while we were walking past a park, that it was a managed landscape! She is reading books all the time. Currently she loves anything about animals. We had our 3WPM a couple weeks ago. Both teachers said they are doing very well. DB does box construction every chance he gets. 10 more weeks and this school year is in the books!

Donuts for the last day of the term!

 Free dress Friday

Soccer Season Wrap

It was a long season but I can't believe it is over already. I really enjoyed coaching both DB & MA's teams. We had a great group of parents and kids on the team this year. And that can make all the difference. The last games of the season were at the same time so I recruited Matt to coach DB's team while I coached MA's.
We had team picnics later in the day before the trophy ceremonies. It was a perfect day and a nice evening to finish the season on.

Party Time

Laid back and low key was the name of the game. DB's party was at a local park. We took some sports balls, food, drinks, & treats and that was that. Everyone had fun. The boys played hard. The sibling girls had fun too. The day was a success. And thanks to my friend, Janet, for snapping some great photos of the kids during the party.
