Grease Lightning

Grease is a classic. I was pretty excited to go see it live. Added bonus was dinner and drinks with friends before hand.
Lisa and I grabbed a drink at the Plough Inn. People watching at it's finest.Crazy high heels that the girls could barely walk in, dresses that barely covered the necessities, sunglasses after dark. The age groups were interesting to see also. We had the older retired/empty nesters and then the 18-24 year old crew. Oddly enough there was no one close to our own ages. Dinner at the Italian restaurant right in Southbank and it was time to hustle to the show.
What a great show! A few of the cast were Aussie entertainment stars. I had, of course, never heard of them. We sang along (not too loudly), laughed, clapped, and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Intermission provided more people watching entertainment. It was a great girls night out!

What a deal on American hot dogs.
