Beach Bums

  We love the beach. The majority of my family loves the beach, so no trip to Australia would be complete without a day at the beach. The sun was shining, the waves crashing, & a breeze blowing off the water. The water was warm enough to get in a swim and splash in the surf. The big and small kids enjoyed it. We walked the beach, looked for shells, & EL even managed a long nap (maybe we nee to get a sound machine for her room). After lunch a group built a sandcastle before going for a swim. I think they would have swam until the sun set but the wind was picking up and the rest of us were thoroughly covered in sand.
