While Daddy is away

  Mommy tends to be a bit lazy. I go to bed early, don't cook big meals, etc. We all miss him when he isn't here but the kids know there isn't anyone to run to and try and get their way since I am the only adult present ;-) We had haircuts, Best of Night, swimming lessons, & school to help the week pass quickly. Saturday, I decided to let the kids paint some Christmas ornaments. Then lunch and a little quiet time for everyone. MA & DB came down and played outside until EL woke up. We did some pool duty. The kids, especially MA & DB, played so nice the entire time. I think they know I used all my patience supervising the painting in the morning. I had planned to go to the park and watch Christmas Vacation but the sky clouded up and looked like rain. So a quick dinner then we watched Tangled and snuggled on the couch. Matt should be home before lunch Sunday. Better pick this place up!
